  Managing Resources

Managing your resources, such as SCORM packages, documents, and videos, is essential to creating dynamic courses or standalone materials for your learners. Crafted with educators in mind, this guide ensures a hassle-free experience, whether you're curating comprehensive courses or assembling a collection of diverse learning materials. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for efficiently handling and optimising your resource library.

To start navigate Admin Resources. This can be found on the side menu bar underneath Admin Settings.

This page provides an organised overview of all existing resources on the platform, including the format type, current active status, category and applicable tags. On the top right corner of the page, an additional resource can be uploaded by selecting 'Add New Resource'

Provide details and upload content for the new resource using the fields below:

  1. Name: Enter the title of the resource.
  2. Description: Add a brief overview.
  3. Upload Type: Indicate whether it's a file or a YouTube/Vimeo link.
  4. Upload Resource: Depending on the type selected, upload the file or provide the corresponding link.
  5. Category: Choose the relevant category from the dropdown menu. This helps learners filter content on the 'My Resources' page.
  6. Tag: Select an applicable tag from the dropdown menu for further content organisation on the 'My Resources' page.
  7. Publish Status: Check the box if you want the resource to be published. If unchecked, it will be archived and inaccessible to learners.
  8. Thumbnail: Upload an image that will be displayed on the 'My Resources' page of the LMS.

Navigate to the Permissions tab and add permissions as required. The permission details will be based on the user profile fields which are set up during your onboarding. If you have any questions regarding the profile fields, please feel free to contact our helpdesk. To proceed, please select the values from the desired profile fields.

If you want to create another set of permissions, click the + button and repeat the previous step for the new accordion item. Once you’re done, select the ‘Apply Permissions’ button.

After completing the 'Details' and 'Permissions' tabs, finalise the process by clicking the 'Save Changes' button located at the top right to successfully upload the resource onto your platform.
